The girls started the match with a united front and taking no nonsense as their approach.
They were together as a team to have many attempts at scoring. However the opposition goalie was difficult for the girls to pass, despite some fantastic attempts by Anya, Jodh, Lilly and Roop.
Poppy was strong in the onslaught of attempts by the opposition but one sneaked past her as we drew to an end for the first half.
In the second half the girls continued in the same vain with their unwavering persistence and drive leading to a goal by Roop, assisted by Lilly.
The girls stamina was revived by Aish joining in the defense preventing further goals from the opposition.
Well done to the girls for their continued effort but the opposition goalie was tough to get past. The score line could have looked much different otherwise. Go Panthers!
